This beautiful Caribbean island and unincorporated U.S. territory with a landscape of mountains, waterfalls, and the El Yunque Rainforest, has been severely devastated by hurricanes. Teams will come alongside local churches, ministries, and humanitarian aid groups to help with continued cleanup, repairing of homes, painting, putting on roofs, ministering to the people with one-on-one conversations, sharing testimonies, and doing drama evangelism. If you can love and value people, Puerto Rico needs you! We need youth, college students, and adults to join our summer teams. Each trip will be unique.
Adult Construction Team
The adults will be leading the brunt of the construction projects as well as cooking, driving, and running errands for the team. There will be opportunities to lead and help with worship for both the team and outreaches. Various ministry outreaches may include such places as homeless shelters and youth detention centers. Be ready to share your testimony and pray for people. We need tough, sturdy adults who can stand the heat, work hard, be out in the squelching sun hours at a time with high humidity. Bring multiple sweat rags!! (air conditioning option available for an extra cost) If you would like to be the full time cook or driver, then you won’t be in the heat quite as much.
Youth Drama and Restore Team
Join Fuel International Puerto Rico on an urban mission trip learning and putting into practice how to lead THE CAUSE OF CHRIST (Matthew 28: 18-20) back into your own community alongside Puerto Rican youth. You will receive training in leadership, evangelism, and discipleship! Then you will go out into the community put into practice the love and message of Jesus in various service activities. You will be doing restoration projects, drama, sharing your testimony, and praying for people. At the end of the week, we will enjoy a fun activity and a time of meaningful debriefing. Special speakers will include Daniel Crosby, President and founder of Fuel International and Gustavo Gonzalez, President and founder of Parallel.
Apply with a $25 individual registration fee or a youth group registration fee of $250.00.

Youth Cost or Adults w/o AC Lodging: $1198 + domestic and international airfare (Estimated $600)
Adult Cost w/ AC Lodging: $1598 + domestic and international airfare (Estimated $600)
Trip cost includes the following: in country meals, *lodging, and transportation; ministry and outreach materials; sponsorship for Puerto Rican team; staff and leadership; fun day activity, and more!
*Lodging for the youth will be a campground/retreat style with bunkbeds and no AC. Adults can choose this lodging or a hotel-style lodging with AC for an extra cost.
